Items NOT accepted for return under ANY circumstances:
Swimwear, Intimates, Jewelery, Sale Items, Limited Quantity Items, and anything that appears to be worn, including items washed, containing makeup stains or smell like perfume. ZERO EXCEPTIONS.
Damaged Items: A damaged item is an item that is damaged when you open your package, even if damaged in transit. We fully inspect all items before shipping but understand we cannot catch all flaws and sometimes items are damaged in transit. You must contact us within 3 days from delivery to customersupport@shopmodernedgeboutique.com. Please include the following in email: Subject "Damaged Return, Screenshot or Attatchment of Order Confirmation (either email or slip included in shipment will work), Photos of Damaged Items and A Description. You will have several options to select from to resolve this problem. A. We send a prepaid shipping label for you to return damaged product and we send you a NEW item that is not damaged, along with a coupon for inconvenience. B. We send prepaid shipping label for you to send back and we provide store credit for a future purchase, C, We will provide full refund to original payment method minus shipping cost, but you are responsible for shipping back to us and refund will be applied once we recieve the item. Please indicate which method you would like to select in email. and we will respond with next steps within 48-72 hours.
All Other Returns- If you do not like an item because it doesnt fit or you dont like the way it looks on you, we do not want you to be stuck with this item. There are several ways we can correct this for you, we ask you contact us at customersupport@shopmodernedgeboutique.com within 10 days from the day you recieved your order with your order confirmation included, and we will respond within 48-72 hours and provide you with your options going forward. Please note, typically we you will NOT be refunded in form of your original payment but we will either do an even exchange or provide store credit for a future purchase once your item has been returned to us, shipped at your own expense. However, owner Katie Minard will resolve each return request on an individual basis to ensure we are doing what is best for our customers.
The reason we operate this way is because the moment we ship an order, those items are no longer on our sales floor for our customers to shop from. In addition to that, we are constantly changing seasons and collections, we cannot accept returns for items that could have sold if they were still in our store. Which is why we have limited days to return an item. I assure we do not do this because we arent understanding, and we encourage you to contact us regardless, but we ask you respect our policies as they are set to protect our small business,
Unless Specified the sizes are as follows:
Small: 4-6
Medium: 8-10
Large: 12-14
X-Large: 16-18
We typically have special sizing recommendations included in description if applicable.
